Korean tabloid Dispatch reported Thursday that singers IU and Chang Kiha have been dating since March.

While the two are yet to confirm the report, Chang’s management agency said it would look into the rumor and soon announce their official stance.

Dispatch claims that IU and Chang started the relationship first out of musical camaraderie, which later evolved to romantic affection.

With a slew of photos to back up its report, the tabloid further said that the two have been seeing each other in Mapo-gu and Yongsan-gu, where they live.

The 33-year-old Chang is 11 years older than IU and the age gap is increasingly not a rare thing to be seen among Korean celebrities.

The first hallyu star, Bae Yong-joon married Park Soo-jin in July, an actress 13 years his junior, while former f(x) member Sulli, 24, is dating Dynamic Duo’s Choiza, who is 14 years older than her.

IU shone as an actress when she starred in SBS TV drama “Producers” in May alongside hallyu star Kim Soo-hyun. If Dispatch’s report proves correct, it would mean she had been seeing Chang even as she acted the love-struck chanteuse in the TV series.

Both IU and Chang Kiha are well-recognized for their unique styles.
