The 2015 Busan International Film Festival kicked off Thursday evening in Busan, bringing together the biggest names in the silver screen across Asia.

The red carpet this year was full of glittering gowns and plunging necklines, as stars put their best foot forward for Asia’s largest film festival, which marked its 20th anniversary this year.

Actress Son Ye-jin was inarguably the best dresser for this year’s festival, flaunting an elegant, sophisticated charm. She hit the red carpet in a dazzling white dress with a plunging neckline and shoulder straps dripping down her arms, creating goddess-like image. Wearing her hair up and natural-look makeup, she wowed fans waiting at the entrance.

Park Bo-young, who rose to stardom with recent tvN drama “Oh My Ghostess,” was like a cute little fairy in her adorable minidress. The cream-colored one-shoulder cocktail dress accentuated her fair skin and slim figure. She matched beige pumps and silver earrings and a silver bracelet to spice up the look.

Ha Ji-won’s sexy black gown was this year’s red carpet sensation. The sleeved maxi dress with a plunging neckline, was embellished with intricate patterns on the cuffs, adding to her sensuality. The dress also had a slit on the side, flattering her slim legs.

Chinese actress Tang Wei wore a scarlet halter-neck dress, and “Yong-pal” star Chae Jung-an flaunted her glamorous figure in a tight blue mermaid dress.

With thousands of starlets and visitors, the film fest will hold a special exhibition featuring the 100 best Asian movies selected by critics and filmmakers around the world.
