Actor Choi Daniel who starred in the recent film “Untouchable Lawmen” began his two-year mandatory national service on Friday.

After a four-week basic military training at a boot camp in Nonsan, Choi will serve as a public service officer, a substitute for active service at an army camp, largely due to his leg injury. The actor previously had a limb surgery, which made him unfit for regular service.

After making his debut through KBS drama “Golden Apple” in 2015, the actor rose to stardom by appearing in various hit films and dramas including “High Kick through the Roof” and “The Traffickers.”
