K-pop octet Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon is set to launch her first solo album at midnight on Tuesday.

When the clock strikes 12, Taeyeon will release all songs from the track list of her first solo EP “I” via online music platforms. Physical albums will hit the off-line stores a day later on Oct. 8.

Having recently parted ways with her boyfriend of 15 months, EXO’s Baekhyun, the now-single chanteuse is the first from the established girl group to embark on a full-fledged solo career.

She had previously collaborated with various musicians, through which she cemented her singing prowess in the public eye.

Modifiers “Best idol vocalist” and “Queen of Soundtrack” are Taeyeon’s tags for ballads “If” and “Can You Hear Me.”

Taeyeon will perform solo concerts titled “Taeyeon’s Very Special Day” at SMTOWN Theatre in Seoul’s Coex Artium on Oct. 23-25 and Oct. 30-Nov. 1.
