Makeup artist Jung Saem-mool has revealed the secrets behind hallyu star Suzy’s beautiful lip makeup.

For Grazia’s photo spread, Suzy wore MAC’s dark burgundy lipstick, Diva, creating an autumn ambience with a tinge of Shu Uemura’s Modern Red.

Saturated red is her signature color. The actress often wears MAC’s Ruby Woo, a classic bold red that lights up her fair-to-medium complexion and accentuates her cute kissable lips. The makeup artist advised making sure to exfoliate and moisturize lips before applying Ruby Woo, as it has a very matte finish. She also sported Ruby Woo along with the same brand’s Chili for Roem ad shoot.

When shooting a pictorial for Beanpole’s fall and winter seasons, the star wore NARS’ Dolce Vita lip pencil. The product has a medium-bright coral color with pink tones, which instantly saturates lips with rich pigments and a velvety matte finish.

For a Ticket Monster ad, Suzy sported The Face Shop’s “Hug Red” lip stain and wore Chanel’s Rouge Allure #37 L’Exuberante and #99 Pirate for MLB Korea’s autograph-signing event.

The 20-year-old was recently cast in the forthcoming TV drama “Uncontrollably Fond,” slated to air in 2016, with actor Kim Woo-bin. The show will portray the story of a high-flying and haughty star who reunites with his childhood love, a servile documentary producer.
