Cool and Koyote to collaborate for new song

Popular K-pop groups from the ‘90s, Cool and Koyote will unite under the name Coolyote and release a new song, local news reported Tuesday.

“Me and Sung-soo (Cool) and Koyote’s Jong-min, Shin Ji and Bbaek Ga will unveil a new song together,” Lee Jae-hoon of trio Cool was quoted as saying in the report. “We are currently recording the song.”

“After unveiling the new song as Coolyote, we will hold a national concert tour, starting with Seoul,” Lee said. “During the concert, we will perform hit numbers from Koyote and Cool and the new song from Coolyote.”

The exact release date is yet to be confirmed.

Yuri of Cool cannot participate in the upcoming song and concert as she is now pregnant with her second child.
