Veteran actors Kim Hye-soo, Jo Jin-woong and Lee Je-hoon have confirmed their roles in the upcoming cable TV drama “Signal.”

With the first installment slated for January next year, “Signal” has grabbed public attention from its infancy as it‘s a collaboration between “Ghost” screenwriter Kim Eun-hee and “Misaeng” director Kim Won-seok.

The star cast of seasoned actress Kim Hye-soo, 10-million-plus-viewer movies “Roaring Currents” and “Assassination” actor Jo Jin-woong and rising rookie Lee Je-hoon adds to the flare.

This is the first time for these three actors to take part in cable channel tvN’s drama production.

Director Kim said, “For ‘Signal,’ the three lead actors’ harmony is quintessential. We put in a lot of effort to cast the right people. These three were the first that came to mind after reading the script. I cannot be happier to see my projections come true. We will do our best to produce the work that matches public anticipation.”

“Signal” is a criminal-action series involving detectives of past and present combining forces through an antiquated walkie-talkie to solve an unfinished case.
