YG Entertainment music producer Park Hong-jun, better known as Teddy, has joined the property rich list in the Korean entertainment sector.

According to a local media outlet, the value of the building he bought near Hongdae, a popular district in Seoul, has doubled to 10 billion won ($8.5 million) in the last four years.

There are 18 local celebrities and entertainment tycoons in Korea with property worth more than 10 billion won, according to Chaebul.com, which tracks the nation’s large enterprises.

SM Entertainment founder and chairman Lee Soo-man topped the list with his buildings valued at a cumulative 65 billion won.

He is followed by YG Entertainment’s major shareholder Yang Hyun-suk with his property worth 51 billion won and musician Seo Taiji with his building worth 44 billion won. Other celebrities in the ranking include actress Jun Ji-hyun, actor Song Seung-heon, signer Rain and his girlfriend Kim Tae-hee.

Teddy is a chief songwriter and record producer of YG Entertainment, one of the three largest labels in South Korea, and a 20-year friend of Yang Hyun-suk.

Earlier, a local entertainment show also revealed that he earns about 900 million won in music copyright fees annually.

Teddy and actress Han Ye-seul confirmed in May 2013 they are in a relationship.
