A new film with the working title “Journalist,” starring Jo Jung-suk, will hit local theaters in October, Lotte Entertainment said Wednesday.

The film tells of the ruthless world of news reporting and the story of a journalist whose false report on a serial murder actually comes to fruition. Lee Ha-na will play Jo’s wife, while Lee Mi-sook is on board as his boss.

Two poster images were also revealed Wednesday, building anticipation among fans.

Following his breakthrough in 2012’s “Architecture 101,” Jo Jung-suk shot to fame with various TV dramas, including “Oh My Ghostess” and “You’re the Best, Lee Soon-shin.”
