Actors Lee Sun-kyun and Kim Go-eun’s collaboration in the upcoming film “The Advocate: A Missing Body” is tantalizing the curious audience a month prior to its release, Monday.

The movie revolves around a homicide case without a witness or a body. Veteran actor Lee plays an ace lawyer on the defendant’s side, while the rising star Kim dons the guise of an aggressive prosecutor.

Lee previously showed tight chemistry with actresses Gong Hyo-jin in “Pasta” (2010), Kim Min-hee in “Helpless” (2012) and Im Soo-jung in “All About My Wife” (2012). Critics are eager to see how he will fare with the rookie Kim.

Kim quickly rose to stardom with her 2012 debut film “Eungyo,” and continued to show excellent performances in high-profile films “Monster” (2014), “Coinlocker Girl” (2015) and “Memories of the Sword” (2015). She is also set to appear in her first TV drama work alongside actor Park Hae-jin in next year’s “Cheese in the Trap.”

Regarding the zealous junior actress, Lee said, “After working with her I understood why Kim Go-eun is loved by viewers and the acting world. Her earnest attitude and undivided concentration are valuable assets for an actor. I look forward to more of her work.”

Kim in turn said, “I have been a great fan of Lee Sun-kyun’s since (2007’s) ‘The 1st Shop of Coffee Prince.’ He is a passionate senior actor that I want to emulate.”

The two’s “The Advocate: A Missing Body” will open nationwide Tuesday.
