CL makes cover of U.S. Paper magazine
CL of K-pop girl group 2NE1 has been featured on the cover of Paper magazine’s September issue with renowned fashion designer and Moschino creative director Jeremy Scott.
The American magazine had previously worked with numerous Hollywood stars as cover models, including Kim Kardashian, Kanye West, Katie Perry, Miley Cyrus and more.
CL has been gearing up for her U.S. debut and recently started filming the music videos for her upcoming tracks.
Referring to her as his muse, Jeremy Scott showed off the two’s intimate friendship, saying, “I first saw her in the shoes I designed in her music video, I was completely obsessed with her and wanted to meet her so much.”
CL, in return, has been attending all his fashion shows and parties.

“Music and fashion always go together,” said CL, while complimenting Scott’s work. “I’ve been wearing Jeremy’s clothes since my debut. His outfits make me whole when I’m on the stage.”
The 24-year-old further talked about her thoughts on female power. “Asian women are often described as submissive, shy and quiet. Fortunately, this is rapidly changing and I hope the trend gets stronger,” said CL, adding, “Uniqueness is what makes you luxurious.”
On the magazine’s cover, the two best mates showed off their charisma in racing suit-inspired outfits along with bold accessories and crowns on their heads. The iconic hallyu star also exuded her sensuous charms with her smoky eye makeup and tight-fitting miniskirt.
CL is set to meet her U.S. fans at the Mad Decent Block Party performances in Toronto, Berkeley, California and Los Angeles from Saturday.
