Girl group Apink member Son Na-eun, who is to act the part of girlfriend to “Show Me the Money” star Kim Min-jae in the upcoming tvN drama “Second 20s,” drew attention for having invited only Kim to her recent live concert.

At a press conference held for the drama, Tuesday, a reporter asked Kim Min-jae if he was being well treated by his virtual girlfriend, jokingly asking whether she gives him any presents.

Kim replied, “I don’t know if this can be considered a gift, but I was invited to Apink’s ‘Pink Island’ concert. I had fun watching it.”

The “Pink Island” concerts took place on Aug. 22 and 23, drawing over 10,000 fans in total.

This was news to other more senior costars who were present at the press conference.

Lead male actors Choi Won-young and Lee Sang-yoon, along with lead actress Choi Ji-woo, made surprised looks for Son Na-eun’s special treatment toward Kim and displayed their disappointment at having not been invited.

Choi Ji-woo joked, “There’s an age limit for girl group concerts,” implying that Choi Won-young and Lee Sang-yoon were too senior to be invited.

Son Na-eun hastily added anyone above the age of 8 can come and that she would remember to invite everyone for the next concert.

“Because we’re still in the initial phase of filming for the drama I didn’t have much opportunity to spend time with the ‘sunbaes’ (older colleagues) ...” she said, trailing off.

In “Second 20s,” Choi Ji-woo plays the lead female role of a 38-year-old woman attending university classes alongside her son and his girlfriend.

The show is set to premiere Friday at 8:30 p.m. on tvN.
