CI ENT said Tuesday that Kim Dong-wan from veteran K-pop group Shinhwa is set to make a solo return.

The agency said the exact date is not yet fixed, but that Kim is currently preparing to release a new solo album later this year. The comeback is expected to break the nearly year-long hiatus since Kim dropped his solo single “He_Sunshine” in November 2014.

Jun Jin, another member of Shinhwa, is also gearing up for a solo comeback after seven years away.

Shinhwa recently held two nights of concerts celebrating their 17th anniversary at Seoul Olympic Park‘s Gymnastics Hall on Aug. 22-23.
