[V Report] Rookie girl group April makes debut

Local label DSP Media’s rookie girl group April made its official debut on Naver’s V app on Monday.
At 8:20 p.m., the six-member girl group appeared at Coex Mall in Seoul and presented their title song “Dream Candy” before showcasing another track “Knock Knock.” The performance was streamed to V in a show titled “April Debut Showcase-Live.”
On the stage, April members shared their wishes and feelings on their debut. Member Yena said, “We hope to have a fan club this year.”
Hyunjoo said, “We will work hard and earn the trust of the public.”

Another member Cheywon said, “We hope to have an exclusive concert with our fans someday.”
At 10 p.m., Sojin and Yura from Girl’s Day streamed a show titled “SOZZI’s return 9000.”
During the broadcast, Sojin and Yura talked about the games they played in their childhood.

Showing Tamagotchi, a handheld digital pet, Sojin said, “When this first hit the shelves, I really wanted to get one. (After buying it), I used to check and played with it during breaks.”
Yura said, “I used to have a lot of fun in the past with this.”
They also played Cat’s Cradle, a two-person string game, and agreed that the loser would buy snacks.
Sojin, who was confident of winning, ended up losing to Yura.
During the show titled “Yubin, Sunmi’s YOU&ME,” which aired at 10:30 p.m., Wonder Girls’ Yubin and Sunmi shared their makeup tips.
”The coral makeup I wore in the latest music video was liked by many female fans,” Yubin said, showing how to use the technique in the makeup room. “Because my skin is a little dark, I often use orange, which is bright and refreshing.”

Wonder Girls’ latest music video “I Feel You” has garnered 7 million views on YouTube.
At 11 p.m., BEAST made a broadcast titled “Preview BEAST’s practice room for their concert.”
BEAST sang “On Rainy Days” in their rehearsal room, and said they hoped typhoon Goni would bypass Korea.

“There will be much more if you come to our concert,” members said, referring to the performances slated for Aug. 29-30.
At 11 p.m., Kara’s Park Gyu-ri hosted a show titled “Park Gyu-ri’s guerrilla dates.”

Park gathered her fans to an ice cream shop 30 minutes before the live-streaming broadcast started.
“I expected only five would come and now around 25 people came here,” she said, looking impressed. “I will make another guerrilla date next time. Please recommend new places.”
She had fun with her fans, sharing sweet and sour chicken with them.
At 11:30 p.m., CNBLUE’s drummer Minhyuk hosted a show titled “Minhyuk_fall in Mr.Kang.”

Minhyuk introduced his two cats named Chichi and Tata. “Beside me, there are always Chichi and Tata, and you -- fans,” he said.
Minhyuk also revealed a photo collection, saying, “This was given by my middle school friends. They made it like an album and gave it to me on my birthday.”
