South Korean actress and singer Park Shin-hye held a fan meeting in Taiwan, her talent agency said Tuesday.

The 25-year-old performed six songs from her album "Dream of Angel," including "Dreaming a Dream," the theme song for the South Korean drama "Pinocchio," on Sunday, SALT Entertainment said.

She also re-enacted select scenes from the TV series in which she plays the lead role of a reporter nicknamed "Pinocchio," who is unable to lie.

"You enable me to push through difficult times because you're there for me, not behind me but right next to me," she told her fans at the event. "I hope we can stay this way forever."

Park made her Asiawide break with "You're Beautiful," a South Korean musical romantic comedy, in 2009. With the ensuing success of "The Heirs" and "Pinocchio," she now boasts 9 million followers on Weibo, the Chinese equivalent of Twitter.

Park is scheduled to put on fan meetings in the Chinese cities of Shenzen on Aug. 29 and Chengdue on Sept. 12. (Yonhap)
