JYP CEO Park Jin-young made the final decision after votes from viewers and stage audiences came in.
The program initially aimed to form a seven-member group but Park selected two more members, making a nine-member group.
Twice is set to make a debut toward the end of this year. It will mark JYP’s first girl group since Miss A debuted in 2010.
