Argued by some as the representative couple of the South Korean entertainment scene, actors Park Han-byul and Jung Eun-woo have separated after a 7-month romantic relationship, reports said Tuesday.

An industry insider said, “Since their trip to Jejudo Island in May, Park and Jung were unable to regularly meet due to their individual schedules. This eventually led them to grow apart. There were other reasons too, such as differences in their personalities, but they are still encouraging and supporting each other.”

Park and Jung’s relationship developed to romance while they acted together in the SBS drama “One Well-Raised Daughter,” which came to a close in May 2014.

In December, the two made their romance official, saying that they had been dating for a month.

Park Han-byul is gearing up to return with new weekend series “I Have a Lover” in August, while Jung Eun-woo is currently acting in the daily drama “The Return of Hwang Geum-bok,” while preparing to enlist in the army later this year.
