South Korean actor Lee Sang-yeob joined the ranks of “Hallyu Prince” after the number of his Chinese social media followers surpassed 1 million users.

As of Friday, Lee boasted 1,020,527 followers on Weibo, jumping over the 1 million hurdle that sets the standards for a hallyu star’s popularity in China.

Lee is actively building up his cross-border career with Korean and Chinese productions.

“Transform, Pretty Boy,” the Chinese production in which he plays the lead role, was listed on the nation’s biggest portal website Sina as one of the top five anticipated dramas of 2015.

The growing star is currently starring as the main character in the South Korean weekend drama “Blue Bird’s House.”
