Ji Chang-wook to hold 28th 'birthday party' with Korean fans

Actor Ji Chang-wook plans to celebrate his birthday with fans later in July.

Ji, who turns 28 on Sunday, will hold a “birthday party” at a Seoul fan meeting on July 25.

“Ji Chang-wook wants to return the support and love shown by fans over the years in at least a small way (by) holding an official birthday party,” said his agency, Thursday. “We hope this will be an opportunity for Ji Chang-wook to become a little closer to his fans.”

Ji Chang-wook has starred in hit TV dramas “Empress Ki” (2013-2014) and “Healer” (2014-2015) and has fans across Asia.

He is on his first Asian tour of fan meetings dubbed “This is JCW,” which recently opened in Hong Kong last month.

The birthday party-fan meeting will be held on July 25 at 6 p.m., at the Woori Capital Art Hall in Seoul Olympic Park. Tickets will be available on ticket.interpark.com from Thursday evening. All seated tickets are priced at 32,900 won ($30).
