South Korean idol group Super Junior’s Leeteuk has been chosen as the host of an upcoming variety show pitched by cable network Disney Channel, local news reported.

The show, slated to begin broadcasting in July, recently kicked off filming with Lee as the host and K-pop quintet SHINee as special guests, according to reports.

Leeteuk, 31, was discharged from military service in July last year and has since been actively taking part in variety shows mostly in an emcee position.

He is currently hosting a wide variety of programs, including Mnet’s “I Can Hear Your Voice” and MBC’s “Match Made in Heaven Returns,” as well as the JTBC show “White Swan”

The title of the upcoming show has yet to be revealed.
