BoA will become the first female idol star to have a solo concert at the Sejong Center for the Performing Arts, according to her agency SM Entertainment Wednesday.

The singer will be performing at the iconic Sejong Center in time to mark the 15th anniversary of her debut. The concert is particularly meaningful because of the prestigious Sejong Center’s reputation for being a tough venue to break into for pop artists.

BoA debuted in 2000 with “ID: Peace B” and went on to become an A-list star across Asia, with particular success in Japan. Her past hits include “Atlantis Princess,” “No. 1” and “Hurricane Venus.” This May, she released her 8th studio album “Kiss My Lips.”

The upcoming concerts at the Sejong Center will take place August 22-23. They will be her first solo concerts in Korea in two years, following her concert “Here I Am” at Olympic Park in 2013. The set list is expected to include all of BoA‘s major past hits.
