Singer Sulli is reportedly leaving girl group f(x), a year after the group suspended its activities over her poor health.

Sulli will pursue an acting career under her present contract with SM Entertainment, according to an unconfirmed local report Thursday.

“Sulli’s departure from f(x) has not yet been decided,” said SM, Thursday, which said it is still holding “confirmatory talks.”

The remaining members of f(x) -- Krystal, Victoria, Luna and Amber -- have been engaged in solo musical and acting projects over the past year.

The reformed quartet will reportedly prepare for a musical comeback, possibly in September to avoid promotional conflicts with another SM girl group, Girls’ Generation.

Sulli acted before she became a member of f(x), appearing in the period TV drama “Ballad of Seo Dong” in 2005, four years before f(x)’s debut.

Sulli, 21, also played two supporting roles in films last year -- marine action film “The Pirates” and comedy “Fashion King.”

SM announced Sulli’s hiatus from f(x) group activities last July, citing mental and physical exhaustion due to malicious online rumors. The rumors have largely surrounded her relationship with hip-hop artist Choiza, who is 14 years older than her, whom she has been dating since September 2013.
