Korean actor Kim Bum, starring in a new action TV drama, is featured in a Korean fashion and lifestyle magazine.

Kim’s photoshoot in an online edition of Singles magazine is his first since losing 14 kilograms and growing a moustache for the MBC drama “Hidden Identity.”

“Most of the filming locations are in warehouses, funeral halls, tunnels under construction -- those kinds of places,” Kim said in an interview with the magazine. “The weather’s already so hot, so everyone is suffering on set.”

Kim said he hopes to have a good time with costars and crew while concluding the drama series.

“Even though the weather is hot, I want to remember a refreshing summer in my heart. I want to act in this TV drama without remorse or regret,” said Kim.

Still, Kim says that compared to his early 20s, he has more time to reflect on his characters and apply a more rigorous work ethic to his acting projects.

Kim, 25, plays Cha Geon-woo, an undercover agent traumatized by his lover’s death.

“Hidden Identity” follows a top-secret, special investigation team of five private agents -- including other actors Park Sung-woong, Yoon So-yi and Won-jong Lee.

“Hidden Identity” kicked off on June 16. The drama series airs on MBC every Monday and Tuesday at 11 p.m.
