South Korean actress Kim Yoo-jung is set to star in the upcoming Web drama “Love Cells 2,” local media reported Thursday.

Kim, 16, previously played Naebi, a cat in the form of a woman, in the first season of the soap last year. She is set to take on the same role in the sequel to the 15-episode rom-com.

Based on the popular eponymous Web toon, “Love Cells 2” features the struggle of a man whose “love cells” die off after 10 years of being single.

Other cast members are yet to be decided.

Kim, who debuted in 2004 as a child actress at age 6, earned popularity for her cute figure and outstanding performances. She rose to fame by playing the younger version of the female protagonist in the 2012 period drama “Moon Embracing the Sun.”

“Love Cells 2” is slated for release online later this year.
