A local TV entertainment program said on Monday that celebrated actors Kim Soo-hyun and Bae Yong-joon have been close friends over the past four years.

Kim is signed onto Bae's talent agency KeyEast Entertainment, which he joined in 2010 after his success as a supporting character in a TV melodrama called "Will It Snow for Christmas?" the same year.

The business relationship became a friendlier one in 2011, the year Kim appeared in the hit TV drama "Dream High," according to entertainment program "The List 2015."

The two celebrated stars, who have a 16-year age gap, are as close as brothers, said the TV program. "The List 2015" was broadcast Monday at 8:40 p.m.

The program said Bae personally picked Kim after a film premiere and invited him to his house for dinner, which he personally cooked.

Kim is currently starring in the popular TV drama "The Producers," which started airing in mid-May.
