Lee Min-ho, Park Shin-hye to attend awards ceremony

Korean actors Park Shin-hye and Lee Min-ho, who together starred in the TV drama "The Heirs," will attend an awards ceremony for the entertainment industry Tuesday.

Lee is nominated for his role in the crime noir film "Gangnam Blues," while Park is nominated for her TV drama appearance in "Pinocchio" at the 51st Paeksang Arts Awards.

Also nominated in the film category are singer-actor Park Yoo-chun for "Haemoo," Kang Ha-neul for "Twenty," Byun Yo-han for "Socialphobia" and Jo Bok-rae as a rising actor for "C'est Si Bon."

In the TV drama category are also actresses Kim Ok-bin for JTBC's "Yoo-na's Street," Song Yun-ah for MBC's "Mama," and Lee Yoo-ri for MBC's "Jang Bo-ri is Here!"

Park and Lee topped online popularity polls in the Paeksang Arts Awards -- held between April 24 to May 24 -- and are expected for take home the Most Popular Actress and Most Popular Actor awards at the Tuesday event.

The 2015 Paeksang Arts Awards takes place at Kyung Hee University’s Peace Palace Hall, Seoul, at 9 p.m., which will be broadcast live on JTBC and on Chinese online platform iQiyi.

Clothing firm LF Corp. and fashion magazine InStyle are sponsors this year.
