Korean singer-actor Rain attended the Met Gala in New York on Monday.

Rain met American-British actress Julianne Moore and Chinese actresses Li Bingbing and Fan Bingbing at the star-studded event. The singer-actor wore a white shirt and black tuxedo.

This year's Met Gala was sartorially themed in line with the Costume Institute's exhibition "China: Through the Looking Glass," with several stars turning up in Far Eastern-inspired outfits.

The Met Gala is an annual fundraising event hosted by the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute. It is also one of the most closely-watched annual celebrations of fashion.

Rain attended the event to represent the German fashion company MCM, a premium brand in Korea.
