Luxury fashion house Chanel has brought its annual resort show to Seoul, which opens Monday at 7 p.m. in Dongdaemun Design Plaza.

Chanel's creative director Karl Lagerfeld selected the Seoul cultural landmark as the site to unveil his interseason collection, about six weeks after the Seoul Fashion Week at the same venue.

"Chanel's decision to show its collection in (architectural designer Zaha) Hadid's latest creation is in line with high fashion's current love affair with architecture," said fashion website Style.com, praising DDM as an "architectural wonder."

The fashion collection being showcased in the north Seoul venue will unveil the luxury brand's resort 2016 collection, which is a ready-to-wear interseason line bridging the spring and fall seasons.

American actress Kristen Stewart and Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bundchen announced online Sunday that they will attend the show.
