Actor Kim Bum attended the ongoing fifth Beijing International Film Festival to promote upcoming Chinese romantic film "The Beloved," in which he stars in the male lead.

Kim attended the red carpet event, which kicked off on April 16 and runs until Thursday. His management agency King Kong Entertainment on Wednesday released photos taken of the actor at the event.

The 25-year-old actor last year starred in the popular Chinese webtoon "V Love."

"The Beloved" opens in Chinese theaters on May 15. Kim's next immediate project is the Korean action drama series "Hide Your Identity" (literal translation), which will premiere in June.
