Actress Eugene last week gave birth to a healthy baby girl, according to her management agency GG Entertainment on Sunday.

"Both mother and child are healthy," said the company. "Eugene is currently at her parent's home receiving postnatal care."

Eugene, whose real name is Kim Yoo-jin, gave birth to her first child after four years of marriage to actor Ki Tae-young.

The pair met on the set of the 2009 MBC drama series "Creating Destiny." They tied the knot in 2011 after a year-and-a-half-long courtship.
