South Korean actor Lee Min-ho revealed his thoughts on his next project at a news conference in Shanghai on Thursday.

During the news conference, held prior to the brand launching event for global luggage retailer Samsonite, Lee shared that he wants to play a character in a non-Korean Asian film.

Talking about his next stint, he said, “I might soon embark on choosing my next project as the filming for my latest project ‘Gangnam Blues’ ended a while ago.”

“I prefer films that contain a profound meaning over those that don’t. My preference might have an influence on my choice.”

Lee, 27, who is currently in a relationship with Suzy of idol band Miss A, shot to stardom as a celebrated hallyu star across Asia after his role in a local rom-com “Boys Over Flowers” in 2009.
