Lee Min-ho received a call from Zhang Ziyi about a role in a film to be produced by the Chinese actress, Lee’s agency Starhouse Entertainment revealed Wednesday.

“It is true that Lee has received a call from the actress. He is definitely reviewing the offer with interest as the film is based on a Korean novel,” said his label.

“However, nothing has been confirmed so far, as even the script and scenario for the film has yet to come out.”

Zhang has reportedly offered Lee a lead role in the film, tentatively titled “Ageless Doll.”

Based on a Korean novel of the same name, the mystery thriller flick is said to deal with the story surrounding the legendary elixir plant.

Filming is expected to take place in Korea, China and Japan.
