Miss A to return in March
(JYP Entertainment) |
K-pop girl group Miss A will return to the music scene in late March, its label JYP Entertainment announced Thursday.
“The exact date for its upcoming album release is not yet confirmed,” said an official from the label. Further details will be revealed through teaser videos and images by the agency.
Industry insiders have their eyes on whether the Chinese-Korean girl band can return to its former glory with the upcoming release.
The quartet has steadily dropped albums, but gradually lost its ground in the K-pop scene after a one-off hit with its debut single “Bad Girl Good Girl.”
The girls have rather focused on solo activities, starring in dramas and films, after the second full-length album “Hush” in November 2013.
Miss A is the latest addition to a handful of K-pop artists who are set to release an album in the coming months.
K-pop boy band EXO, Big Bang, girl band Girls’ Generation and singer Lee Seung-gi are all reportedly gearing up for a comeback in April and May.
