Actress Jun Ji-hyun was picked as South Korea advertisers’ favorite model last month, according to a local commercial institute on Wednesday.

The 33-year-old actress topped the monthly chart seven out of 12 months last year. She was closely followed by a former figure skater Kim Yuna (9.56 percent). Yoo Jae-suk, a famous comedian better known here as “MC of the nation” took third place, while Suzy, a member of K-pop girl group Miss A, dropped from third to fourth place.

Other actors and actresses in the top 10 were Lee Seung-gi (3.9 percent), Kim Soo-hyun (3.5 percent), Hyun Bin (2.98 percent), Ryoo Seung-ryong (2.62 percent), Kim Woo-bin (2.53 percent) and Kim Tae-hee (2.47 percent).

“Jun is expected to retain her position as a commercial queen this year with her movie set to be released soon,” the company spokesperson said.
