Balladeer Sung Si-kyung will unveil the track “Promise Not to Forget” on Wednesday prior to the release of his winter-themed album, his agency Jellyfish Entertainment said Tuesday.

Sung will reveal the new track, off the upcoming album “Winter Wonderland,” and its music video at midnight on Wednesday.

“Promise Not to Forget” is a mellow song suitable for winter, featuring Sung and rookie artist Kwon Jin-ah. It is a remake tune originally sung by veteran singers such as Lee Moon-sae and Lee So-ra.

“Winter Wonderland” will be released on Dec. 9.

His album comes three years after the release of his seventh studio album, “The First Time,” in 2011. In recent years, he has been active in the entertainment scene, hosting cable TV shows such as “Non-Summit” and “Witch Hunt.”

He will also hold his year-end concert, “Winter,” from Dec. 5-7 at the Indoor Stadium at Jamsil Sports Complex, southeastern Seoul.

Debuting in 2001, the 35-year-old singer has gained recognition as a top ballad singer after producing a slew of hit songs such as “Like the First Time,” “You Touched My Heart” and “We Make a Good Pair.”
