A snippet of the music video for Psy’s new song “Hangover” surpassed 1 million views on YouTube on Sunday, just two days after its release, his agency said.

The new hip-pop song had a 10-second preview on U.S. network ABC’s talk show “Jimmy Kimmel Live: Game Night,” where Psy and American hip-hop star Snoop Dogg were to appear, inviting 1.18 million views on YouTube, according to YG Entertainment.

The full music video will be released Sunday (U.S. Eastern Time) on the talk show, and his song will then be available via iTunes around the world, it said.

Psy, who rose to international stardom with his global megahit “Gangnam Style,” had been working on the new song since last year.

Snoop Dogg participated in the production and the filming of the music video.

In the music video, Psy and Snoop Dogg enjoy the Korean drinking culture.

It is the first song to be released by Psy since “Gentleman” in April last year. “Gangnam Style” set a record by topping 2 billion views on YouTube on May 31. (Yonhap)
