Jeong Sewoon won the ‘Rising Star Award’ at the Asia Artist Awards 2017 and expressed much gratitude to fans via Naver’s V app on Thursday.

“AAA was officially my first ceremony that I attended. Being that it was my first, my mind went blank when I had to give the award-winning speech. Coming off the stage, I started to recall things I wanted to say,” the rising K-pop star said.

Jeong Sewoon offered his appreciation to fans who have supported him. He explained that he also gave a shout-out to fans during a post-awards interview because he didn’t get the chance to do that on stage.

He promised fans to become a better musician and ended the broadcast wishing senior high school students luck on their national college entrance examinations, or Suneung, on Nov. 23.
