SHINee’s Minho receives award at Indonesian Television Awards

Minho of SHINee received a Special Award at the 2017 Indonesian Television Awards held in Jakarda, according to S.M. Entertainment.
The agency said Thursday that the K-pop star became the first Korean artist to be presented an award at the award show. It said he received the award for his widespread popularity in the country, especially due to the dramas he has starred in such as “To the Beautiful You,” “Medical Top Team,” “Hwarang” and “Because It’s the First Time.

Minho is reported to have expressed his gratitude during his acceptance speech, saying, “Thank you for welcoming me here and giving me such an amazing award. I will repay your love with greater activities.”
The award ceremony is hosted by RCTI, one of the biggest media groups in Indonesia.
Minho debuted as a member of SHINee in May 2008. Aside from group activities, he has constantly been engaged in small screen career since November 2010, featuring in TV shows such as
“Salamander Guru and The Shadows” and “The Poet Warrior Youth.” He also made his big screen debut last year with “Canola.”
