“I am holding this broadcast today to support the 2018 PyeongChang Olympics and Paralympics, which will be held in PyeongChang, Gangwon Provine, in February 2018,” Kim said at the start of the broadcast.
Many Hallyu stars are taking turns to support the Olympic Games by voicing their support for the event and nominating another person to do so.
“Singer Kang Yoon-ji nominated me as a participant of the support campaign. She is the sister of Kang Sung-hoon of Sechs Kies. She’s a longtime friend of mine. I am glad that I can participate in a good campaign thanks to her,” he said.
“I’m looking forward to the Olympics as it is the festival of the world. As a citizen of Korea, I promise that I will support the Olympic Games until it ends,” he said.
Kim currently stars in the KBS drama “Manhole: Phil in Wonderland.”

“I didn’t originally know (that it was my 100th-day anniversary) but I found out when fans congratulated me,” she said.
The day also marked the second-year anniversary of girl group DIA, which includes her “Produce 101” co-stars Ki Hui-hyeon and Jung Chae-yeon.
I.O.I was formed through the first season of Mnet’s audition program “Produce 101.”
“Hui-hyeon, Chae-yeon, congratulations on your second-year anniversary!” Kim said.
When a fan notified her that it was also the 500th day since I.O.I’s debut, Kim was deeply touched and played “Downpour,” the last single released by the project group before it disbanded in January.
“I don’t really listen to this song because it’s so sad,” she said.
Wrapping up the broadcast, the singer thanked her fans for their support saying, “Thank you. I’m so happy.”

“It’s been two years for DIA already,” Ki Hui-hyeon said. “I debuted when I was 19. Back then, I introduced myself as the youngest but I became 21 already and I’m not the youngest anymore,” Jung Chae-yeon said.
DIA, which originally debuted as a seven-piece group, has re-organized itself as a nine-member group, adding Jueun and Somy in April.
Blowing out the candle on an anniversary cake, Ki expressed her hope for the group to win the No. 1 spot.
DIA debuted in 2015 with the full-length album “Do it amazing.” It released its latest mini album “Love Generation” in August.
During the broadcast, the girl group revealed that it would release a repackaged album in mid-October.
