“It’s not been so long since we finished the promotional activities for ‘Wonderful Love.’ I’m glad to meet fans so soon,” Jane said. “Actually we prepared this album while still promoting our previous album.”
“I dyed my hair purple. I tried to change my image,” Hyebin said. “We could hold an autograph signing event only once for ‘Wonderful Love,’ but we are planning to hold more autograph signing events for ‘Freeze!’ so please anticipate.”
Momoland debuted in November as a seven-piece group -- consisting of JooE, Jane, Yeonwoo, Ahin, Nayun, Hyebin and Nancy -- with the EP “Welcome to Momoland” through Mnet’s K-pop audition program “Finding Momoland.”
Ahead of its release of “Wonderful Love” in April, the group welcomed Daisy, who had lost in the final round of the show, and Kim Tae-ha, who appeared on another Mnet K-pop audition program, “Produce 101,” as a trainee of Starship Entertainment.
“Freeze!” was to be released Tuesday.

When asked about the band’s next release, the six-piece group answered together, “We will drop a new release nicely through online music websites across the world.”
Chang Ki-ha said, “The new album will take a similar amount of time as the previous albums.”
The band has dropped new albums around every two years. Its latest album “Who’s Good at Their Own Love?” came out in June 2016.
“I haven’t let the bandmates hear the new song. I’m working on it and it seems fine,” Chang said.
After debuting in 2008, the band led by front man Chang rose to popularity with its quirky lyrics and performances.

He said he had dreamed of becoming a singer since he was in the fourth grade in elementary school.
“I dreamed of becoming a singer after watching music shows. I told my parents that I wanted to be a singer, but they said, ‘Aren’t you too young,’ so I decided to try it sometime later,” he said.
Two years later, his parents suggested he try auditioning. He said he started to learn singing and dancing then.
“By the time I was about to graduate from elementary school, I had an audition for Woolim Entertainment and passed. (My parents) said it is awesome that I passed the audition and underwent my trainee years at an early age,” he said.
