Cosmic Girls’ Bona is set to make her TV acting debut, according to her agency Monster Union.

The agency said Wednesday that the singer will appear in KBS 2TV’s new variety drama “One Best Shot.” It is Bona’s first screen acting since the group’s debut in February 2016.

Bona will be playing “Do Hye-ri,” a trainee at a major entertainment agency. The drama will feature how young people in their 20s struggle for love and success in their daily lives.

“Bona will be able to show her new sides through the acting,” said an agency official.“ She will also work with actor Kim Min-jae, who will play another male trainee of the same agency in the drama.”

Other stars appearing in the drama include Yoon Shi-yoon, Cha Tae-hyun, and Astro’s Cha Eun-woo.

The drama, co-produced by the agency and Chorokbaem Media, is set to air in May.
