Wonder Girls share thoughts about disbandment
Wonder Girls on Friday shared their thoughts on the group‘s 10-year history and disbandment through messages on social media.
Hyerim, who joined the group in 2010, updated her Instagram with an image of a note with a short message, “Thank you very, very much!”
Two weeks ago, Hyerim wrote via her Instagram account, “I am sorry to our fans for not having been able to give them a heads up. I want to thank everyone who has loved and supported Wonder Girls for the past 10 years. I was happy being a part of it from 2010 to 2017. The time was all the more valuable and precious because I was able to spend it with the other members and WonderFul. Thank you.”
“WonderFul” refers to the group’s official fan club.

Yubin also mentioned the recent passing away of her father, “Thanks to your prayers, I was able to send off my father in peace. I believe he will look down on the rest of my family from the heavens.
“Your love, trust and support will never fade in a corner of my life. I will try to continue to make you proud. Thank you so much for you love.”
Yeeun had also said a day prior to the release of the group’s swan song, “It saddens me that this is the only thing we can give you for our 10th anniversary. Although there is so much to be said about this goodbye, the best way of doing it, for us, will be through music. Thank you once again to everyone who has loved Wonder Girls.”
Wonder Girls’ final song, “Draw Me,” was released Friday.
Hyerim and Yubin will stay with JYP Entertainment to pursue individual careers, while Sunmi and Yeeun will seek to sign with new labels.
