[V Report] EXO take to the road without a manager
Broadcast date: Sept. 2
Starring: EXO (Chen, Xiumin), MAP6, Kim Sae-ron, My Name
EXO - Chen, Xiumin
Chen and Xiumin from idol group EXO boasted about their friendship on Friday’s Naver V app live broadcast. The two appeared on camera without any managers watching over them.
The two were going on a trip under the show’s theme of “Travel Without a Manager,” or Mae-Tteo-Yeo (in shortened Korean).”
“I like things like this, ‘Mae-Tteo-Yeo,’” Xiumin said.
When they were asked whether they are close friends, the two answered without hesitation.
“Yes, I don’t think there are any others (in the group) who are as close as we are.” Xiumin added.
Chen said, “He’s like my brother,” and Xiumin followed with, “He’s like my wife.”
“I’m a little surprised to hear that, but he’s like a family member to me.” Chen added, as Xiumin and staff members laughed.
The two apparently are comfortable enough to share their secrets with each other.
Staff members asked whether they have been on a trip before. Chen answered, “It is my first time going on a trip with tightly scheduled plans.”
Xiumin said it is better to rest at home at times because they are usually so busy.
“When you are on trips you need time to enjoy it, but usually we need time to relax more. I must be a superstar,” the 26-year-old said, laughing.
The two went on to talk about their driving skills. “Minseok (Xiumin’s name) is better than me,” Chen said.
Chen and Xiumin started off their trip, with Xiumin driving the car, ending the V app broadcast.
MAP6
Members of K-pop boy group MAP6 appeared on the V app to show Byung-sun (Sun) getting his nails polished.
“Ok, what about doing just one hand? Two hands are just too much don’t you think?” Sun begged.
One of the members held his hand tight onto the ground and the other members started to put nail polish on his hand.
“Oh god! Look at them,” Sun squealed as the four members continued to polish Sun’s nails.
The 20-year-old made a finger heart with his thumb and index finger and posed for the camera, bursting into laughter.
Rookie group MAP6 made their debut in 2015 with their EP “Storm.”
Kim Sae-ron
Actress Kim Sae-ron greeted fans on a Naver V app live broadcast for the first time on Friday after her latest drama, JTBC’s “Mirror of the Witch,” ended.
“I’m taking some time off, relaxing after the drama ended. Of course, I emcee in MBC’s “Show! Music Core,” she said.
The 16-year-old came up on the V app while at a make-up product promotion event.
“I am going to school nowadays, and it’s great. I am interested in beauty and fashion products so I wish to get some good tips about the industry from this event.”
When a viewer asked how she keeps in shape, the young actress answered, “Drink a lot of water. And put down whatever you are eating right now,” making the viewers laugh.
My Name
My Name opened their V app channel on Friday, greeting their fans in Germany while on their Euro concert tour. The five-member group debuted in 2011 with their EP “Message.”
