EXO member Xiumin and actress Kim So-eun have been cast as lead characters in upcoming Web-based drama “Falling for Challenge,” local media reported Friday.

The two have reportedly finished script reading. The drama tells the story of two youngsters in a college hobby club who fall for each other.

Xiumin is set to play Na Do-jeon, a young man who works part-time as a clown as he loves making people laugh. Kim So-eun will play Ban Ha-na, who dreams of starting her own food truck and tries to stem the club’s shut down.

The EXO member has recently finished shooting his debut film “Kim Seon-dal” whereas the actress garnered huge popularity through her recent performance in MBC drama “The Scholar Who Walks the Night.”

The two talented actors are scheduled to begin shooting the drama from this week.
