TvN drama “Encounter,” featuring actors Park Bo-gum and Song Hye-kyo as the leads, will air in over 100 countries.

CJ ENM, the company that oversees tvN, said Friday that “Encounter” was sold to Viki, which airs across America and Europe, as well as Viu, the biggest online broadcaster in Southeast Asia, which covers Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines and Thailand.

In addition, Now TV of Hong Kong, Starhub of Singapore, 8tv of Malaysia, BBTV Ch3 of Thailand, FOX and iQiyi of Taiwan, Mnet Japan and more have bought the rights to air “Encounter.”

Viu, Now TV, Viki and iQiyi will be able to air “Encounter” 24 hours after each episode is aired in Korea.

“Encounter,” in just two episodes, surpassed viewership of 10 percent nationwide, according to media research firm Nielsen Korea.

Song Hye-kyo plays the role of a divorced hotelier, while Park Bo-gum plays a new recruit at the hotel. The two meet by chance for the first time in Cuba while traveling separately. They later meet again at the hotel and gradually fall for each other.

The show airs every Wednesday and Thursday in Korea at 9:30 p.m.
