Comedian and actress Hong Yoon-hwa said she had lost a whopping 28 kilograms ahead of her scheduled marriage to fellow comedian Kim Min-ki this November.

During the recent taping of the show “Same Bed, Different Dreams 2: You Are My Destiny,” the soon-to-be-wife said, “I’ve lost 28 kilograms so far and went to a wedding dress fitting a few days ago.”

Hong, who is set to appear on Monday’s episode, said the wedding planning process was going smoothly as her beau had let her take the lead.

Hong told the panel that when she had asked Kim about his dream wedding, Kim had replied that a wedding to Hong was his dream. The answer sent the studio into a frenzy of applause.

The new episode featuring Hong as a special presenter and a panel of married female guests, including Han Go-eun, will air on SBS at 11:10 p.m. on Monday.
