When VIXX LR, a subunit of VIXX, grabbed the No. 1 spot on SBS MTV’s music program “The Show” on Tuesday with their new song “Beautiful Liar,” the duo weren’t able to receive the trophy on the night. To make up for it, they decided to have their own awards ceremony via V app on Friday.

Ravi and Leo first thanked each other, other VIXX members, their official fan club Starlight and the staff who helped them.

Friday was also their last day of promotions for the EP, “Beautiful Liar.” They made their farewell performance on KBS’ music program “Music Bank” earlier. “For the past three weeks, we had a valuable and fun time,” Ravi said. “I think it will become a good memory.”

“I hope VIXX LR’s music experiences will add synergy to VIXX’s music career,” said Leo. “We will work harder.”

Along with the duo, the other VIXX members, Hongbin, Ken and Hyuk, appeared on the broadcast to cheer on the duo. Before ending their segment, the VIXX boys announced that they would unveil a funny video at noon on Saturday.

Four-member band CNBLUE made a surprise appearance on the app to deliver some good news to their fans.

“From Sept. 6, we will do a special live program titled ‘CNBLUE Cinderella Live,’” said member Jung Yong-hwa.

For the show, which is named after their upcoming release, “Cinderella,” each member is set to go live at 11:50 p.m.

“The show is for all the Cinderellas,” said Jung. “You can probably guess why the program is at 11:50 p.m.”

“I can’t wait to unveil the song ‘Cinderella,’” said Min-hyuk. “The song is really great and you can probably guess what it is about based on the story of Cinderella.”

Four-member rookie band N.Flying kicked off their first official broadcast, “Let’s Roll,” at 8 p.m. The excited members, Kwon Kwang-jin, Lee Seung-hyub, Cha Hun and Kim Jae-hyun, introduced themselves and explained the meaning behind the title of the show.

“‘Let’s Roll’ is a chant we used since our indie band days, and means let’s start,” said Lee.

“For this broadcast, we simply want to have fun with you,” said Cha.

“With ‘Let’s Roll’ we would like to communicate and share our lives together,” said Kim. “From now on, we will go live every Thursday at 9 p.m., so stay tuned!”

Actress Park Bo-young tuned in from Singapore, where the starlet is on a promotional tour for the latest hit drama “Oh My Ghostess.”

She talked about her day in Singapore, doing interviews for the media and meeting with drama fans.

“So many people greeted us and I was moved,” she said. “Oh, and I received beautiful flowers too,” she said, showing off a bouquet

Furthermore, Friday was a day of celebration on V. Stars checked in for birthdays and anniversaries.
