T.O.P new model for beer brand

T.O.P of K-pop boy band Big Bang was selected as the face of the Korean beer brand Cass Fresh, the company announced Tuesday.

“T.O.P has become an icon of the youth who leads the cultural trends of those in their 20s in many respects, which would correspond to the dynamic image of Cass Fresh,” the company said.

Cass Fresh seeks to boost its profile in the domestic beer market this year with the new ad featuring T.O.P, it added.

The beer brand has featured a host of popular actors such as award-winning Kim Soo-hyun and “Pinocchio” star Lee Jong-suk.

The 27-year-old idol-turned-actor recently starred in the film “Tazza: The High Rollers 2.” He is working on Big Bang’s upcoming album, to be released in 2015.
