The members of boy band Infinite sent video letters to their fellow bandmate Kim Sung-kyu in a live broadcast held via Naver’s V app Saturday.

Kim began his military duty on May 14, becoming the first member of the group to start his service. In South Korea, all able-bodied men have to fulfill their military duty for around two years.

In Saturday’s broadcast, Lee Seong-yeol said, “Sung-kyu, I said I would join the army with you (but you joined the army alone). It’s not because I tried to avoid joining with you but because you entered it first! Please don’t get me wrong.”

“I will be there soon. Please wait until I go out to meet you,” he added.

“Sung-kyu, I also said I would join the army with you and Seong-yeol but there were things going on (which hampered me to do so),” Jang Dong-woo said. “Please stay healthy and come back. I guess by the time you come back from the army, you will gain more strength and you will become more manly.”

“The fans will wait until we release a new album as a whole group so I hope you to just come back safely,” he said.

Nam Woo-hyun, who said he stayed three days with Kim before he joined army, said, “I said ‘be safe’ but I couldn’t say this: ‘I love you.’”
“I hope to see you again brightly. We are family now!” he said.

Lee Sung-jong said, “As he was the first one to join the army in our group, I respect him and it looked good that he joined the army while smiling. I thought I should also join the army like that.”

“It feels empty as Sung-kyu’s not here. See you at the completion ceremony!” he said.

Debuting in 2010 as an INFINITE member, Kim has put out two individual EPs -- “Another Me” in 2012 and “27” in 2015 -- and a full-length album called “10 Stories.”

He has also appeared in stage musicals such as “Gwanghwamun Sonata,” “In the Heights,” “All Shook Up” and the play “Amadeus.”

Singer Samuel communicated with his fans in a live broadcast held via Naver’s V app Saturday.

“I’m heading back home after performing on ‘Show! Music Core,’” he said opening up the broadcast. “It was really touching while performing as so many fans came there and the performance was the best.”

During the broadcast, the singer thanked his fans for supporting him.

“Thank you for coming here and giving me love and support though the weather was very hot today,” he said. “I will work hard to show you some fresh looks so please support me a lot.”

“The weather is so hot so if you are wearing long sleeve shirts, please don’t forget to bring water bottles and drink some water,” he added.

The singer recently released “Teenager,” the repackaged album for his second mini album “One” released in March.

B.M and J.Seph of co-ed K-pop group K.A.R.D communicated with their fans in a live broadcast held via Naver’s V app Saturday.

In the broadcast, the singers shared their impressions on their concert in Russia.

“We can still feel the fever from the last night,” J.Seph said, excitedly. “It was really, really fun!”

“Thank you Hidden KARD in Russia. It was really fun last night,” he said referring to the group’s fans.

“Thank you for coming out to see us last night. The cheer was no joke! It was our first time visiting Russia but it was … Oh, man!” B.M. said.

“I thought Russia would be a cold country and I would feel cold but because of the fever from the fans the coldness was gone as if the snow melts. That passion!” J.Seph said.

When asked about the plan for releasing their next album, B.M said “We will work hard, hard on the next album after our concerts in Russia so please wait for just for a while!”

“We will be back in Korea on June 10 and from the very next day, we will work on the new album,” he said.

“To reward those who have been waiting with high expectations, we are preparing hard so please wait for a while,” J.Seph said.

K-pop stars including Sunmi, K.A.R.D and Imfact performed at the sold-out “Feel Korea” concerts at the Mega Sports Arena in Moscow, Russia, on Thursday and Friday, which were held as part of cultural exchange programs between South Korea and Central Asia.
