Jun of boy band Seventeen shared some tips for taking good “selfies” in the latest episode of the “G’Going Seventeen” released via Naver’s V app Saturday.

The video started with Jun trying to take a selfie against the ocean.

“Like I said at the fan signing events, the most important factor for selfies is the lighting,” he said.

“When you are in front of such a beautiful ocean like this, how would you make both your face and the ocean come out nicely (in selfies)?” he said. “Placing the light in front of you is most important.”

“Look at this photo,” he said showing the photo he was taking at the beginning of the video. “Right, the filter is important too but first of all, the lighting has to be pretty so that the face shows up nicely.”

“And if you make one side of your face slightly darker than the other side, your face looks smaller,” he said.

“You got it, right? Try it next time!” he said wrapping up the video.
